Life isn't about waiting for the storm to pass. It's about learning how to dance in the rain

The art of living is the art of bringing dreams and reality together

My life journey started in the beautiful city Odessa, Ukraine. I immigrated to the USA in 1990 and it felt almost like the beginning of a new life. It was a new life and a new adventure! My education and occupation always were in technical fields. I always had an inquisitive mind and wanted to understand how the world I am living in works.

I grew up in a very strict conventional environment with no religion, I was taught in a very materialistic school with no beliefs in anything other than material world. But since I was very little I somehow knew that it was not true. Something else beyond what we see should exist otherwise nothing makes sense. A lot of things didn’t make sense to me for a long time and I felt myself different from people surrounding me. I did what I was supposed to do to fit in. I got a good education, a good job, got married but I wasn’t happy and many times felt depressed. I was searching for information to make sense of life. It was getting worse and worse until in 1996 my friend introduced me to the Seth Material - collection of books by Jane Roberts.  First time in all those years I was reading something that made complete sense to me!

That was such a pivotal moment! One day very late at night I was reading “Nature of Personal Reality” outside under the stars and at that moment  I strongly believed that no matter the circumstances I have the power to change my life for the better. I didn’t know how but I felt guided  and just knew that I could do it.

Nothing was the same after. I made many changes and followed the trails of “you create your reality” ideas. I read many books, participated in many workshops and met many very interesting and unusual people. I wanted to understand how life works. Why did my life unfold the way it did? Sometimes it seems to follow some design but who is a designer? How people, events or circumstances which affect me appear? Who am I? What happens beyond this life? I exposed myself to very diverse information and got some answers. My life got better and better, I encountered fewer challenges and when challenges happen they become less intense. I know that my journey is never over; it keeps me fascinated with the mystery and magic of existence.

As I continued my spiritual path around 2015 I felt guided to the new exploration. I wasn’t sure what I was supposed to do but I felt many questions inside of me. I start questioning myself what I would like to do, what are my passions? I felt I want to quit my job and be more in service, sharing my knowledge. I gain a lot of spiritual knowledge but I would like to embody that knowledge in my everyday life;  I love dancing and have wanted to become a dancer since I was 5 years old. It never happened and I considered it as an impossible dream. I always long for deeper connection with people and be in service. All of this seemed like different directions until I found a conscious dance and moving meditation.  I went to Journey Dance and Let Your Yoga Dance teacher trainings to become a movement meditation, conscious dance facilitator. It was a totally transformational experience. Movement became my medicine. Please continue to read about my movement offerings here.

2020 was a pivotal and exciting year for me. I did exit my job as a computer programmer. I felt very strongly guided to do so. I wanted more and more to be my genuine self. Do what I love to do, enjoy Life. Also my desire to be of service became much stronger but I wasn’t sure how I could do that. After some searching and contemplation I decided to become a Life Coach and enrolled in the Official Coach Training School of Tony Robbins - Robbins-Madanes training.
