Awakening - A Journey Dance Experience
Spring is a time of phenomenal renewal. The earth reawakens from her slumber, and explodes with new life. In our own lives spring is all about new beginnings and transformations. Spring reawakens us and our surrounding environment, bringing everything back to life.
Join us to move and be moved with Nationally Certified Journey Dance Facilitators Inna Shapiro and Jean O'Toole at this in-person Journey Dance experience at Embrace Life Community, 90 Clinton Rd. Unit 2, Fairfield, NJ.
When: Saturday, April 22nd, 7:00 – 9:00pm, doors open at 6:45 PM

Please join us for a Journey Dance experience to celebrate the season and embody the Transformation. Cleanse your emotions and express yourself through movement.
In our practice we dance without mirrors to release judgment of ourselves and others. It is not about learning steps; it’s about revealing, recovering and re-discovering your natural intuitive movement. We activate imagination and utilize diverse forms of freestyle improvisational dance to a soundtrack of inspiring world music, creating a barefoot celebration of the human spirit. We feel connected, grounded, energized and vital. We encourage self-trust, self-approval, and divine knowledge within every dancer.
JourneyDance™ calls us to heal, get physical, and connect with our inner resources to step into our highest potential, reconnecting us with our innate states of joy, well-being, and pleasure. JourneyDance™ acts as a catalyst to celebrate the magnificence of our body and life. We encourage self-trust, self-approval, and divine knowledge within. Through movement explorations, powerful core connections, fascia engagement, and breath awareness, participants will release judgment, freely express their sensual soul, and move into a new story of self-love.

Bring: Water bottle, towel if needed and a snack for after class. You may also want to bring your journal.
Wear: Most people choose to dance barefoot in JourneyDance sessions, however feel free to wear socks if you will be more comfortable. Wear comfortable clothes to move in and layers are encouraged so you can remove or add if needed.
