Days grow longer. The feeling of the sun warming up our skin is unlike any sensation a human being can experience. The sun’s rays warm us up and make us feel good. Simple sunshine can make us feel sensational!
The Sun, as the source of energy and light for life on Earth, has been a central object of reverence and celebration in most cultures. Today I invite you to join me for a Sun celebration with meditation and dance.
~ As we celebrate, we will embody radiance, joy and optimism.
~ We will connect with the Fire element. The fire element is associated with our ability to see - both through the physical light of the sun that illuminates things and the spiritual light of consciousness that removes the darkness of ignorance. Connect with the light, then see clearly. Fire energy can be both purifying and transformational.
~ We will conclude with a bliss of coming Home to your Whole self with 20 mins of sound healing by Binaural algorithms via headphones - Guided meditation w/ sound, biofield coherence and neuro-acoustic ambience guided by Bharati Carla Haynes

Moving meditation is a physical and spiritual practice that connects mind, body, heart and spirit through expressive movement and free style conscious dance. It is facilitated and guided rather than taught. It is a practice of letting go and allowing your body to move in the natural flow.
It is a movement which transcends dance; movement as the medicine, the meditation and the reflection of life.
Dancing allows the body to feel and express what is inside through the movement but not thinking, movement and then feeling. We follow the body in its capacity to take us home to what is inside.
In this way dance is healing because human life is shaped by the feeling and experience that move through us. As we allow feeling to move through us we restore the body's natural ability to have sensations and use this ability to fully experience life. Our bodies are designed to feel. To dance is to restore this ability.
Movement naturally quiets the mind and it is the key that opens the door to hearing the voice of the heart and receiving our inner knowing.
